Terence Higgins Trust – A registered HIV and Sexual Health Charity established in 1982 in the memory of Terry Higgins, one of the first people to die of Aids in the UK.

The helpline number is free to call from all UK landlines and most UK mobiles and will not appear on your telephone bill. Some calls may be listened into or recorded for training purposes.

Positiveline is operated by the Eddie Surman Trust. One of the trusts central aims is to help and support people who feel suicidal or depressed because of HIV. The registered trust was founded in 1996 as a tribute to Eddie Surman who took his own life on his 21st birthday.

African AIDS Helpline 0800 0967 500

Launched in 2000 the African AIDS Helpline offers confidential advice and help to the African community in the UK. Run by the Manchester based voluntary organisation the Black Health Agency the organisation is a registered charity.

The helpline is available in English and French at all times. Shona on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Swahili on Thursdays  and Luganda on Fridays.

National registered charity set up to support and help women, families,  men and youth affected by HIV/Aids.

HIV i-base is a friendly positive lead treatment activist group that provide comprehensive information on treatment options for people living with HIV. Explained in easy to understand language. The group was established in 2000 and is a registered charity.
